This post is all about my most recent Paris food favorites!
After my last find, I went to look out for another restaurant gem in Paris.
I love tapas: being able to try many different small plates and share them with friends and family. I was so pleased to discover a lovely tapas restaurant in the center of Paris.
It’s not just any tapas place, it is a Corsican tapas place!
Let’s discover this great place you must visit if you are in Paris!

Where is it?
The Corsican restaurant Alma is located in the center of Paris in the 2nd arrondissement. The exact address is:
10 Rue Mandar, 75002 Paris
The restaurant is near a very lively street in Paris, the rue Montorgueil. The street is full of restaurants, bars, and food shops.
The closest metro stations to get there are the “Sentier” on line 3 and “Etienne Marcel” on line 4.
How was the food?
The food came quickly and looked great! We had the “Korsican” Fried Chicken, the octopus, and delicious cheese and potato balls.
I think the highlight for me was the “Korsican” Fried Chicken. The breading around the chicken was very crispy and had a great texture. On top of that, the barbecue sauce was very good. I’m usually not a fan of barbecue sauce, because I find it too sickly sweet, but here it was great!
We did not have any desserts, but they looked great as well!
What I liked is that the menu was not too long and everything looked fresh.
They also had a nice list of cocktails, making it a great place for an evening with friends.
How was the service?
The night before we came for lunch, they had a huge party in the restaurant, and they were short one person on the staff.
Nonetheless, the guy managing the service was very nice. Poor guy was running left and right to serve everyone…and he was there the night before for the party.
He was very friendly with all the customers, making it a very nice experience overall!
