This post is about my beginner blogger report for March 2022!
Another month has come and gone and March is here! This means it is time to review all the things I was doing as a beginner blogger during the last month for my blog.
In terms of mindset, I must admit I was less committed in February than I was in January. I dedicated less time to writing posts during the weekend. As a consequence, I had to write 3 out of 4 posts on the day I planned on publishing them.
So let’s review what happened in February and what I plan on doing in the course of March!
Beginner Blogger Report – March 2022
Looking back at February 2022
In February I had the following goals:
ONE BLOG POST PER WEEK AND MY PINTEREST TASKS
In February I posted one post per week, though it was more of a struggle this month than in January. I was less organized and dedicated less time to writing posts. As a result, I was rushing to write them each Wednesday (the day on which I usually publish my posts).
The learning from this is really that I need to set out time and plan it out in my Google agenda. When the time rolls around to write the post I must really commit and not procrastinate. It is not always easy to get into the writing mood. However after sitting in front of my PC for 10-15min, I usually really start to get into the groove of things.
In addition to writing post, I prepared my pins and continued to plan them in Tailwind and the Pinterest scheduler. Looking at the analytics, there was a dip in impressions towards the middle of February, but it picked up again around the 21st.
I also didn’t put in my Google agenda the date on which I was supposed to schedule my pins on the Pinterest scheduler, which led me to miss some days. I course-corrected, but again for March, I’ll put in my Google calendar when I need to schedule both on the Pinterest scheduler and Tailwind, just to be sure.
FINISH THE AFFILIATE MARKETING COURSE
I had also planned on finishing the course on affiliate marketing…and did not finish it. I did make some progress on the course, but I am not nearly done with it.
To be honest I was more focused on creating content than making progress on the course. I’ll continue taking the course in March and hopefully finish it!
STATS FROM THE MONTH OF February
Here are my February 2022 stats for Pinterest:
And my WordPress stat from Monster Insights:
March 2022 blogging goals
Post 2 posts per week and be more organized and diligent with my blogging work
The plan for this month, and despite having difficulty last month on this: posting twice a week. I want to try and see the impact and hopefully increase the number of views.
Based on the lessons from February: I need to plan my time in my agenda and commit to writing those 9 posts I will publish in March. At the end of February, I dedicated a session to brainstorm all my blog posts ideas for the coming weeks. I have also made sure to have some dedicated time on the weekends to write them and review them before publishing.
Make sure I am on point with Pinterest Scheduler and Tailwind
I will continue creating my pins and doing my scheduling on Tailwind and the Pinterest scheduler. I also want to do further research on what other bloggers do for their Pinterest strategy. I especially want to have a better understanding of what Tailwind can do for me.
Continue taking the affiliate marketing course
I’ll continue reading the course on affiliate marketing, and hopefully will be able to read the whole thing. I’ll then have to go back from the start and really start brainstorming what it all means for my blog!
This post is all about my blogging report for March 2022!
